Staff skilfully challenge children to solve and explore mathematical problems. Children enthusiastically count objects and compare sizes and weights within their daily play experiences.

Partnerships with local schools are well developed. Staff share information about children's learning to help make sure that their move to school is a positive experience
Children have great fun at the nursery as they eagerly involve themselves in Halloween related activities. They listen to the noise the orange coloured dry rice makes on the tuff tray, and they scoop out the pulp of the pumpkin to explore the inside and count the seeds.
